Peace & Harmony
A space for a growing family
This project was a journey in restraint for me, as a lot of my projects have a lot of colour in them.
My clients, a wonderful young couple expecting their second child, wanted a home that felt peaceful yet full of character. To complement their love of reading, I designed a custom-built-in bookshelf, seamlessly blending function with aesthetics. Every element, from the soft furnishings to the carefully curated textures, was chosen to create an inviting atmosphere of understated elegance.
—a transition from a lackluster lounge and dining room into a serene, harmonious space infused with warmth. The brief was clear: a palette strictly limited to beige, brown, and cream. For a designer who typically embraces bold color, this was a personal challenge, but one that led to a beautifully sophisticated outcome.
The result? A timeless, calming space that proves neutral tones can be just as captivating as color.
